Review MAGGINI 4/4 Giovan Paolo Brefcia Violin Dominant Strings

There are dirt spots and the fabric has several snags on outside, although inside is in great condition. The tuners work well. It also comes equipped with built-in fine tuners and Dominant strings which are in good used condition. This 4/4 Giovan Paolo Maggini brefcia 1623 is in nice condition for its age.

She felt like it was best suited for an advanced player. The Laces case is in good working condition and seems to be fairly heavy duty protects the instrument well. It has a beautiful flames back, neck, and ribs. The violin body measures just slightly more than the standard 14, and total length is about 23.25.

The neck and fingerboard are secure, the sound post is in place. However, it does have some cosmetic imperfections. The low notes are very rich, although it tends to be louder and more brash in the upper register. Cosmetically, it has some scratches and edge wear that would be consistent with its age, particularly on the top.
