There is a little bit of wear as you can see in the pictures but nothing that compromises the sound or structure of the instrument. Later in the years the Selmer company purchased them and now Wm Lewis Son are a division of them. The owner said that it is in excellent condition and had a real wood neck as opposed to some that are plastic.
He said the new owner will probably want to put new strings on this and that the bow and its parts are in excellent condition. This comes with a hard shell case as well as some reason stored in the cases pouch. It measures 22 from end to end and was made by a company called Wm Lewis Son which was well known for their quality instruments.
