Please refer to the pictures. This violin is in excellent used condition especially considering that it 76 years old.
The instrument has been well maintained and cared for. The violin is spruce top and flame maple back sides with beautiful figuring.
There is an occasional nick here. The flash pictures are more indicative of actual color. The difference in color between pictures 2 and 3 rest is that they were taken without flash to give idea of surface finish. The case is more for protection when shipping.
I can't tell if it has been refinished or not.
The neck is also flame maple but not as distinctively figured back and sides. This sale is for the lower 48 USA only.
