Varnish is in great condition. Fingerboard is worn and has zebra looking strips on it one repair was done by me, a lower cracked rib but was fixed nicely as all the original wood was still there easy repair has nice warm tone, a very cool violin to own and one day down the road might be worth a good penny maybe.

Once the time frame of 4/6 months went by the student had purchased the instrument and could keep it at home. Nice spruce front belly, with 1 piece maple back, has new chin piece and replaced tail piece fine tuners. Has new strings and sound post, with old Paris bridge fancy.
