There is no key. There is a velvet section that cover the violin and has satin backing.

There are no cracks but is wear on the front and by board. There is also a strap and handle for easy carrying another zippered area your Music.

Inside there is a velvet lining. The violin has a spruce top, maple back and finger board. Please assess condition by looking closely at the pictures. This comes with a brown cloth case that has snap latch and zipper closing.

The satin backing does have some yellowing and stains as well spot on outside of brown case. It is about 23 inches long and 8 wide at the widest part.
