This is a great sounding instrument, ready to play. It was made in mire court, france sometime mid 1800S. At some point the neck has been reset and an ebony crown placed button.
The tone is superb. The violin was fully restored recently. Excellent workmanship throughout, fully lined and blocked, inlaid purling,new fingerboard bridge. It is branded inside, Salzard.
