It is finished with gold-brown chestnut varnish, artistically shaded. Year made: the 1970s. The instrument is resonant and responsive. Condition: Excellent vintage condition, defect free.

Fittings: Ebony. Accessories: KUN shoulder rest gently used, in very good condition ; rosin Schwartz wood en tray, unused. According to Carlene's for distributors, these violins were made throughout of beautifully flamed and thoroughly seasoned wood. Carlene KH66 Violin, , Germany, Level: Intermediate.

While some minor traces of prior use can be detected, the instrument is in excellent shape overall. The seasoning of the wood over years is standard. The KH66 was an Orchestra model and aimed at the serious student. Strings: brand new Piastre Tonics set.

Case: vintage case by Tokyo Gawk, Japan in very good condition; includes violin blanket and strap. The violin is defect-free structurally and in excellent cosmetic condition. Bow: brand new unused, un rosined wood en bow; ebony frog with full German silver mount. The violin features beautiful materials and shows precise workmanship.

It has a nice, well balanced tone, with rich overtones and good resonance. There are no cracks or repairs.
