The photos doesn't do this instrument justice. The pegs and tailpiece are ebony and the bridge is German maple.

Retail was around 1,000. This instrument was made in romania in 2006. The bow is not included. I suggest replacing them with high quality string like dominants and bringing it to your Luther for a quick look over.

This violin would be a great instrument for an intermediate to early advanced student. I purchased this violin while in school to use as a secondary instrument after deciding that the student model's were too awful to bear. It has incredible sound for the price and is particularly crisp in the upper registers. The top is cut from seasoned spruce and the back is figured maple.

The violin is currently strung with obbligato strings, but the strings are rather old. It looks stunning in person.
